Protect your cleaner - Make demands on the cleaning companies

7.12.2020

Today is the day of the cleaners!

In many countries, undeclared work is a widespread problem in the cleaning industry. In Sweden, we have come a long way since the introduction of the RUT deduction in 2007, which has meant that we have gone from a high proportion of undeclared work to an increasing number of white cleaning jobs. But there is still a lot to be done to improve the working conditions of the cleaners, the industry must get better.

Working with home cleaning is a craft that requires a great deal of knowledge. At Freska, all cleaners must complete a cleaning test before starting work at a customer’s while continuously completing various in-house training.

Everyone who cleans for Freska has a collective agreement. The employees have a good working environment with decent conditions where they can develop and can be integrated into society. This should be a right for all cleaners, no matter where they work.

For many, the home cleaner is an important cornerstone in the everyday puzzle. To demand that the cleaning companies that charge RUT offer decent working conditions for their employees is to show appreciation for the work the cleaners do daily.

Thank you who help us in everyday life, you do a fantastic job!
